1. Check an identifier
Paste a phone or WhatsApp number, email, website, social handle, payment handle or wallet. We normalize it (for example to international phone format) and compare it only against case files that a moderator has reviewed and published.
An exact identifier match means the same contact point appears in a reviewed file. A similar name is shown separately and never treated as the same person or company — scammers often copy the names of legitimate businesses.
2. Read the result carefully
'No reviewed matches' means only that nothing in our published files matches. It is not a statement that a seller is safe. New identities are created every day.
Every match shows the review stage, what is attributed to reporters versus what was independently verified, the date of the last review, and whether the named business has replied.
3. Report an incident
Anyone with a free account can submit a report with identifiers, a timeline, amounts and supporting documents. Reports are private by default; your name is never shown unless you explicitly opt in.
You can ask for your report to be considered for publication. Moderators decide — nothing is published automatically.
4. Editorial review
Moderators match identifiers exactly, review documents, redact personal data and check for duplicate or coordinated reports. The named business is offered a right of reply before publication.
A case file is published only after six recorded editorial checks. Personal phone numbers and private individuals are never published from a complaint alone.
5. Corrections and appeals
Published files can be corrected or withdrawn. Withdrawn files are removed from search, rankings and the sitemap. Businesses can reply, request corrections or ask for takedown review from any case page.
